How To Make the Best Banana Bread
You’ll need mashed bananas, flour, butter, brown sugar, eggs, baking soda, and spices. We love banana nut bread, so we love adding walnuts or you can add chocolate chips and make chocolate chip banana bread.
The overripe bananas are best to use. Other than ripe bananas, you need a few more simple ingredients:
We use all-purpose flour. Just keep in mind that changing the flour from all-purpose will affect the texture of the bread slightly.
Baking soda is our go-to leavener for banana bread.
Salt, vanilla extract, and cinnamon add flavor to the bread and make it taste amazing.
Butter. Use softened butter for a soft texture and irresistible butter flavor.
Brown sugar. Use all brown sugar in this recipe. I’ve explained before that brown sugar is the culprit behind soft and moist cookies. Well, brown sugar works that same magic in banana bread, too.
Eggs supply cakes, cupcakes, breads, doughs, and cookies their stability and structure, as well as a tender texture. You’ll need 2 large eggs in this banana bread recipe.
How To Mash The Bananas
You can use your electric mixer to mash bananas. Break or slice the spotty bananas into large pieces and place in the bowl of your stand mixer or use a regular mixing bowl and your hand mixer. Begin beating on low, then gradually increase to medium-high speed as the bananas break down into mashed banana. You can use this bowl for the rest of the banana bread ingredients.
You can also use fork to mas the bananas. A fork works perfectly fine.

Center a rack in the oven and heat to 350 degrees F. Butter and flour an 8 1/2-inch by 4 1/2 inch loaf pan.
Place the pan on an insulated baking sheets or two regular baking sheets stack on the top of the other.
Whisk the flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon together, set aside. in the bottom of a medium bowl , mash bananas into a chunky paste. Whisk the melted butter , brown sugar, eggs and vanilla into the bananas until blended.
Switch to a large rubber spatula. scrape the side and bottom of the bowl then add the dry ingredients in 3 parts, stirring gently until they disappear and the batter is smooth. Stir in nuts and/or chocolate chips.
TO FINISH
Pour batter into the pan and smooth the top. bake 55 to 75 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.
After 30 minutes in the oven, check the bread for the color. If it looks like it is browning too quickly, loosely cover with aluminum foil.
When the bread is done, transfer it in the pan to a wire rack to cool for 5 minutes. Unmold the bread and place right side up on the rack. Cool completely.
Thankyou.
